1,000,000th TV!


Last April 23, 2018, Omni produced its 1,000,000th television since it resumed its assembly operations in June of 2013.

Omni Solid President and General Manager, Ms. Abbe L. Daza and TCL Sun Technical Representative Mr. Bob Zhou together with several Managers from Omni were on hand to witness the simple celebrations.

The 1,000,000th unit was tagged while it was still in the production line. Everyone waited with abated breath until the 50” TV was assembled, inspected, packed and sealed. All the production personnel gathered to cheer as the count down started until the unit was finally produced.



A short presentation followed with Omni’s Project Division Manager, Mr. Lawrence Pe explaining how the assembly operations re-started in Mid 2013 upon the request of TCL Sun. Mr. Pe highlighted the milestones reached by SKD Assembly department until it reached its 1,000,000th unit.

Not long after, other companies started talks with Omni such as Haier and Skyworth for possible cooperation. Audits were conducted both by Bureau of Philippine Standards and customers on several different occasions to re-check if Omni’s Quality Management System maintains its quality standard. Omni’s customer satisfaction rating maintains at 95%.

Other milestones include purchase of new conveyors, improvement in facilities, renovations

The 1,000,000th unit includes all the brands assembled by Omni such as TCL, Haier, Panasonic, Skyworth and Avision.

In her remarks, Ms. Daza thanked TCL Sun and all of Omni’s customers for their continued confidence in Omni. She also thanked the employment agency as well as Omni’s employees for the unselfish support and dedication.

Mr. Zhou on his part congratulated Omni for this feat. He said that he will be sending a report to TCL headquarters in China regarding this achievement.

The celebration ended with a group photo and light snacks for everyone to enjoy.
